Call for Joint Research Projects and Partnerships from CAPES Brazil

Posted by Alana Milner on February 17, 2015 in Research Funding

The Brazilian Federal Agency for the Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES) has recently announced a call for joint research projects and partnerships between Brazilian and foreign universities, under its General Program for International Cooperation (Programa Geral de Cooperação Internacional – PGCI). Mobility and other expenses for joint research projects of 2-4 years can be covered by this funding.

Full details of this opportunity are available on CAPES website. However, as applications must be led by Brazilian institutions, and the call information is available only in Portuguese, faculty members are advised to contact their Brazilian colleagues to signal their interest in this opportunity and discuss application procedures.

Any Dalhousie faculty member who is interested in this call is asked to contact the International Research Facilitator.

The deadline for applications is April 30, 2015.
