Mitacs Globalink Research Awards ‑ France

Posted by Alana Milner on January 19, 2015 in Research Funding

Mitacs Globalink Research Awards help faculty and students at Canadian universities deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. Dalhousie faculty in any discipline may submit applications on behalf of their senior undergraduate or graduate students. Awards of $5,000 or more will be made to students in support of 12- to 24-week research projects at universities in France, through three programs with INRIA institutions, the Sorbonne Universities, and Campus France.

Full details of these awards are available on the Mitac website.

Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in these opportunities is asked to contact Jennifer Morawiecki in International Research & Development for more information and support in developing an application, and to facilitate the necessary institutional signatures.

Note that Dalhousie has established an internal application process for these awards, and applications are currently being accepted for student placements in autumn 2015.

Deadlines: February 27, 2015 (INRIA); March 13, 2015 (Campus France and Sorbonne)
