NOVA DOMUS (Network of America and Europa for Doctoral Mobility at Universities) is a new mobility project funded by the EU’s Erasmus Mundus program, of which Dalhousie is a member institution. A full description of the project can be found in today’s issue of Dal News.
Dalhousie’s NOVA DOMUS administrative team is now working with our consortium partners on preparations for an upcoming Call for Applications from doctoral students, postdocs and research staff, for funded exchange placements. We are interested in hearing from Dalhousie faculty members who:
- have doctoral students, postdocs or research staff under their supervision, who would potentially be interested in applying for a funded exchange placement with one of the European partner institutions; and/or
- would be willing to host and supervise a doctoral student, postdoc or member of research staff from one of the European partner institutions here at Dalhousie.
It is expected that placements would commence in September 2015; length of placements would vary from 1 month (research staff) to 6 months (postdocs) to 10-11 months (doctoral students).
Any interested Dalhousie faculty member is asked to contact Jennifer Morawiecki, the International Research Facilitator, no later than next Monday, 20 October.
