The Research Tools and Instruments Grants Program will continue again this year as a national competition. At the NSERC level, the program description and proposal instructions will remain similar to previous years. Likewise, the NSERC RTI Selection Committee members will follow the guidelines found in the NSERC Peer Review Manual.
As in previous competitions, only applications from applicants and co-applicants who currently hold or are applying for an NSERC research grant (e.g., Discovery, Strategic, Research Partnership, Canada Research Chairs) at the time of application will be accepted. A researcher can be an applicant or co-applicant on multiple applications.
For more information regarding this announcement and application form please view the attached NSERC RTI Internal document.
