Booking an appointment is easy, no matter which location you’re visiting!

Halifax Campuses

Spring/summer hours of operation:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (closed on Saturdays from June through August) 

Please note: phone lines are off between 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. and at 5 p.m. daily.

If you require urgent medical support, please call the front desk at 902-494-2171 (Halifax) during office hours to be triaged by a nurse. For all other appointments, you can call the Centre or book online using the links below.

New to the Centre? Your first time booking an appointment?

If you are looking to book a same-day counselling appointment on the online schedule and none are listed, it is because appointments for that day have been already booked by other students. 

Due to a high volume of requests for services, same-day counselling appointments will be prioritized for students who are not presently accessing ongoing counselling. We are unable to accept a same-day counselling appointment request if you are presently accessing ongoing counselling. 

If you would like a same-day counselling appointment and there are no appointments available, please check again the following day (as of 8am M-F, 11am Sat), or we encourage you to use Good2Talk which offers telephone and texting counselling 24/7/365.

If you need an urgent medical appointment, please contact the Centre and speak with a nurse.

Truro Campus

Hours of operation:

  • Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday - Closed
