Apply to Co‑op ‑ Dalhousie (Engineering)

To apply for co-op, register for the Online Co-op Orientation Course (ENGI 8890)
by January 15.

To qualify for co-op during the Fall term, students must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Register for the Online Co-op Orientation Course (ENGI 8890) and pay the $300 deposit by January 15.
  2. Complete the Online Co-op Orientation Course (ENGI 8890) by April 15. Course access instructions will be emailed to you by the end of January. Students who are not eligible for the Co-op Program can have this course fee refunded.
  3. Obtain the Diploma in Engineering and have a cumulative GPA of 2.3 by April 30.
    Students completing the Diploma in Engineering after April 30 will not have access to co-op job postings, but may choose to conduct a self-directed job search for the fall term. All self-obtained co-op positions must be approved for Co-op by September 15.
    Students who do not work during the fall term must speak to Patsy Langille in the Co-op Office, to see if they are eligible for late admission to the Co-op Program.
