Research Interests

Dr. Emily Black's primary research interests focus on infectious diseases including antimicrobial use and stewardship, immunizations, and pharmacy practice.  Current research projects include development and evaluation of antimicrobial stewardship initiatives, assessing and piloting of co-payment models for increased uptake of vaccines through community pharmacies, and exploring feasibility and acceptability of expanding community pharmacists’ scope for managing infectious diseases.
