Dalhousie University, in association with the Canadian Institute of Fermentation Technology (CIFT), will be offering a day-long “Intro to Brewing” workshop. Beginning with a brief history of brewing, this workshop emphasizes the fermentation process, the raw materials required, and their role in producing a unique brew. The workshop will be conducted both in the classroom and in the CIFT pilot plant, giving attendees the opportunity to work with pilot scale equipment and interact with instructors and fellow students. The workshop will be conducted on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at Dalhousie University’s Sexton Campus. A map of the campus is attached.
