2018 IRON RING CEREMONY

Iron Ring Luncheon – Westin Hotel
11 am Registration Desk Opens
Candidates will provide their Obligation Number to attendants to receive their Iron Ring & Obligation Card they will need for the ceremony.
12 pm – Luncheon
Jointly sponsored by Engineers Nova Scotia and Dalhousie Faculty of Engineering, the luncheon provides an introduction to the professional practice of engineering with presentations by representatives of each of the sponsors.
The luncheon is ONLY open to the candidates receiving their rings.
Only those in attendance at the luncheon will be eligible to attend the ceremony.)
Iron Ring Ceremony (2pm) – Sexton Memorial Gymnasium
Candidates are to gather in the Student/Alumni lounge on the ground floor of B-Building at 1:45pm. Camp 7 Wardens will be on hand to organize a procession that will enter the gymnasium as a group for the 2pm ceremony start time.
Iron Ring Replacement
Camp #7 Iron Rings are replaced at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Engineering.
If you are in the Halifax area, you can visit our office from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Please bring $25.00 cash or cheque (payable to the Wardens of Camp 7).
Our office is located at 5248 Morris St.
If you are living outside the Halifax area and need to replace your ring, there are two options:
1. You can send your complete mailing address, grad year, ring size, along with a $25.00 (cheques are payable to Wardens of Camp #7) replacement fee to the contact below.
2. You can pick up a replacement ring at another camp location. Please contact us and we will send the camp your obligation number, then you can make arrangements with the camp for pick-up. Please visit www.ironring.ca for a complete list of camp locations across Canada.
