Economy, Work, and Development

This area explores labour studies, development, economic restructuring, comparative economic and social systems and theories of economy.

Topics explored in classes and research include the gendering of work, international labour migration, post-Cold War transitions, global capitalism, and continuity and change in rural and urban settings.

We work in different parts of Canada, but are also specialized in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
