In honor of ICPSR's International Love Data Week 2025, Dalhousie Libraries will be hosting a series of online presentations on various aspects of working with data. Whether you own your data, or work with data owned by others, you may very well find the right tool or approach that you need during a Love Data Week event.
Taking place from February 10-14, these free presentations include:
- Learn to use Google to find data like an expert in less than 30 minutes!: Monday, February 10, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
- Find publicly available data in data portals in less than 30 minutes!: Monday, February 10, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
- To Love Data is to Licence Data, A Primer on the Relationship between Copyright and Data: Tuesday, February 11, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
- You’re the data. You’re everywhere. You don’t own it.: Tuesday, February 11, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
- How I learned to stop worrying and love Dal’s new Active Data Storage Service: Wednesday, February 12, from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
- Show yourself some love: Using ORCID to manage data about you: Wednesday, February 12, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
