Funding, News and Announcements

Mitacs Globalink Research Awards (GRAs) help faculty and students deepen the research links between Canadian and international educational institutions. Awards will be made to students in support of 12- to 24-week research project placements in Canada and abroad. These awards provide funding for research costs, student stipends, and travel/living expenses. Incoming applicants must secure a Dalhousie faculty member as their host supervisor before applying.

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (Germany — travel to Canada)

• Travel to Canada between April 11, 2024 to May 24, 2024 (participants must inform Oliver Kaas at KIT of their intention to submit a project by April 28, 2024 – oliver.kass@kit.edu).
• Travel from Canada: open all year
• Level: Full-time PhD students and postdoctoral fellows
• Themes: All disciplines
• Eligible institutions: KIT departments and KIT divisions
• Award amount: $6,000 CAD
• Application process and submission: Submit to Mitacs through the application portal.
