Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy applies to medical appointments with our doctors and our psychiatrist. There is no fee for a missed appointment with our social worker, counsellors, or registered psychologists, but 24 hours' notice is still appreciated for cancelling an appointment, to ensure the appointment can be filled by another student in need.
To cancel your appointment at the Student Health & Wellness Centre in Halifax, please complete the Appointment Cancellation Form or call 902-494-2171. If you've booked your appointment online, you can also log in to Medeo and cancel and rebook your appointment from the online portal.
To cancel your appointment at Student Health Services in Truro please call 902-893-6300.
Cancellation Fees
- More than 24 hours before - No fee
- Less than 24 hours before (doctor) - $45
- Less than 24 hours before (psychiatrist) - Minimum of $100
- No show (doctor) - Minimum of $45
- No show (psychiatrist) - Minimum of $175
