Since graduating from Dalhousie IDS program, Adriana Leigh (Greenblatt) (BA'01) has been working on a forthcoming book titled Trauma Sensitivity at Work, to be published by Page Two Books in April 2026. The book examines burnout, workplace conflict, and leadership through a trauma-sensitive, systems-informed lens, drawing on research, field practice working globally with international institutions, lived experience, and her background as a human rights lawyer. It offers practical, evidence-based frameworks to help leaders and organizations strengthen psychological safety, relational awareness, and institutional resilience.

The work moves beyond individual-focused wellness approaches to address the organizational and cultural conditions that shape how people function and perform at work. It positions trauma sensitivity as a substantive leadership and governance competency for today’s evolving workplace, with particular relevance for high pressure organizational environments.

Adriana welcomes connections or conversations with fellow Dal alumni who are interested in leadership, workplace well-being, and organizational culture! (Find her on LinkedIn)
