Policy Matters Speaker Series

Policy Matters is a regular panel discussion series on major policy issues, presented by the MacEachen Institute for Public Policy & Governance and their partners. Each discussion features leaders and researchers in different sectors and focuses on key topics of regional and national importance.

Our Goal

The goal of Policy Matters is to engage with the research areas and mandate of the MacEachen Institute. It includes presenting new research from both academic and public-service sources, encouraging the generation and adoption of research-informed policy, and fostering engagement on policy issues with the broader Halifax community.

These events are open to the public and designed to encourage engagement with policy issues, and conversations about our democratic institutions.
