Exam Accommodations

Submitting quiz or test requests

If you require accommodation for a quiz, test or exam, you will need to submit a quiz/test/exam request through the Accommodate student portal. 

Requests for testing accommodations are due 7 days prior to the day of the test. It’s recommended that students submit all their test requests as soon as they become available at the beginning of the term.

Testing day

Tests start at the scheduled testing time unless other arrangements have been made in advance with your professor and communicated to the Accessibility Coordinator.

The date and time of your test booking can be found in Accommodate. Please come to the Accessibility Centre for your test unless other arrangements have been made. Our office is located in the lower level of the Dairy Building.

Accessibility Services cannot move the date of a test without professor permission. If you are unable to write your test for any reason, notify your instructor and the Accessibility Coordinator right away by email. If the instructor allows the test to be rescheduled, please contact the Coordinator to make alternate test arrangements.
