Jessica Chubb

 

Jessica Chubb began her career in higher education in 2004 as a Graduate Writing Assistant in Saint Mary’s University (SMU). After 5 years in this role, she went on to hold the position of Manager of the SMU Writing Centre. In 2010, Jessica became the Coordinator of the Dalhousie Studying for Success Program, where her main responsibilities include helping to develop students’ skills in becoming more effective learners. Jessica is also an instructor in the College of Continuing Education, where she teaches in the Refining Your Learning Skills summer program. In addition to her primary work-related duties, Jessica’s dedication to helping others learn can be seen in many pursuits; she volunteers on a weekly basis in the English Language Learning Program of the Halifax Public Library, where she tutors new immigrants to Canada. Jessica holds an LL.B. degree from the University of London, a B.A. in International Studies and Politics, from the University of Saskatchewan, and an M.A. in International Development from Saint Mary’s University.
