Dr. Heather Smith, a professor at University of Northern British Columbia and a highly-regarded expert on Canadian Foreign Policy, will be a visiting researcher at Dalhousie for 2018-19 and 2019-20, and will join CSSD as a Research Fellow. Dr. Smith is also well known for her work on creative pedagogy, feminist research, and Indigenous issues.

The Political Science department at Dalhousie is very pleased to welcome Dr. Leah Sarson, as a new tenure-track Assistant Professor. Dr. Sarson will also be joining the CSSD, as a Faculty Fellow, and will be bringing with her experience and expertise on Canadian foreign policy, feminist theory and research methods, and global Indigenous politics.
