Dal Community Day: Sunday, Sept. 8

Dalhousie students are coming together to make a difference on Dal Community Day, Sunday, September 8. Activities will include putting together hygiene kits for local shelters and crafting cards for seniors in the community. 

Whether you're new or returning, this is your chance to connect with fellow students and give back. Everyone is welcome—let’s show our community spirit! Register to attend by completing this form.

Rhodes Scholarship information session: Thursday, Sept. 5

The Dalhousie Rhodes Scholarship Committee will be hosting an information session for students interested in applying for the Rhodes Scholarships. These are prestigious scholarships to pursue graduate studies at the University of Oxford. The information session will provide an overview of the scholarships, the eligibility criteria, the selection criteria, the application process, and the timelines. There will also be an opportunity for students to ask questions and seek clarification.

Faculty of Science Summer Institute wrap-up

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the last Summer Institute session on August 28 – FoS faculty and staff had a chance to hear from several advisors from across campus. Teaching Assistant Professional Development Days: Sept. 4 and 5

New and experienced teaching assistants are invited to participate in Teaching Assistant Professional Development Days from the Centre for Learning and Teaching. In-person sessions will be held on September 4, with online sessions taking place on September 5. Visit the CLT website to see the full schedule and register to attend.
