Falling Walls Lab pitch competition: Win a trip to Berlin
Dalhousie University is bringing the Falling Walls Lab pitch competition to Atlantic Canada for a second year. Open to current undergraduate and graduate students and early-career professionals, the competition calls for participants to pitch their ideas and innovations to make the world a better place. Last year, chemistry PhD students Sarah Martell and Tina Taskovic advanced out of the regional competition and earned spots in the global finals in Berlin, Germany. Mitacs invention to Innovation (i2I) program
The Mitacs invention to Innovation (i2I) program is designed to help researchers understand how to take their ideas from lab to impact. Delivered over eight months, the part-time, asynchronous program is now accepting applications from graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and recent alumni who have a Mitacs affiliation. University of King’s College: Limited Term Appointment
The University of King’s College invites applications for a Limited Term Appointment in the History of Science and Technology Program, starting July 1, 2023. The deadline to apply is June 8. Complete details can be found on the King’s website.
BioBlitz at Harrison Lewis Coastal Discovery Centre
The Dalhousie community is invited to a BioBlitz at the Harrison Lewis Coastal Discovery Centre on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. The event will take place on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17.
