As part of the Explore program, you'll live in residence on the Dalhousie campus. Most years, Explore students stay in Fraser & Chapman House. Fraser & Chapman House feature single and double traditional rooms in a dormitory-style residence.

Rules & Regulations

  • Smoking including tobacco, cannabis and vaping is prohibited on Dalhousie University Campus this also includes all residence facilities.
  • Guests are responsible for all damage to, and loss of, Dalhousie property (i.e. Keys ($50) and Conference cards ($25)).
  • Any violation of fire regulations may result in eviction.
  • Dalhousie is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
  • Pets are not allowed in residences, with the exception of working animals.
  • Dalhousie reserves the right to immediately evict any guest based on unacceptable behaviour.
  • The legal age for purchasing and consuming alcohol and cannabis in Nova Scotia is 19 years of age. If a student is under the age of 19 and is in possession of alcohol and/or cannabis, it will be disposed of by the student under the supervision of an Explore staff member.
