Tigers men's basketball and women's volleyball teams win AUS Championships — the eighth in a row in women's volleyball and the fifth in six years for men's basketball.

Cheer on the Tigers: The men's basketball team is seeking its first ever national title this weekend. The no. 2-ranked Tigers face Ottawa in the quarter-finals Friday night at 9 p.m. Atlantic time. Watch all games livestreamed at CBC.ca.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

With their new book, two Dal students are doing more than shining a light on women in Nova Scotia politics. Thanks to a fundraising campaign, they're also aiming to help their fellow students as well.
