On Their Shoulders

Join the Dalhousie Women's Division, Junior League of Halifax, and guests on International Women's Day 2020 (#EachforEqual) as Dal students, Sarah Dobson and Grace Evans, launch their scholarship campaign for a female student planning on entering politics—donations for the scholarship fund are welcome and appreciated.

Grace and Sarah will share highlights from their forthcoming book, "On Their Shoulders", about all Nova Scotia's women members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), past and present. Meet current and former MLAs and featured guest, the Honourable Kelly Regan, Minister responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women. We know that an equal world is an enabled world, and International Women's Day is a global event that reminds us to challenge stereotypes, counter bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations, and celebrate women’s achievements.

On March 8, come celebrate with us! Space is limited so please register online in advance."
