A crisis for the North Atlantic right whale


At least 10 North Atlantic right whales have turned up dead off the coast of Atlantic Canada this summer — a huge number for a critically endangered species with only approximately 500 surviving animals total. 

This week, in a two-part feature, Dal News speaks to Dalhousie researchers working to understand what's happening to the right whales and how to prevent such deaths in the future.
