Exam anxiety workshop from Student Health & Wellness

Dalhousie Student Health & Wellness is holding an exam anxiety workshop for students on Monday, April 3 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. online via Zoom. This workshop covers strategies for staying calm and managing exam anxiety. Register for the session on the Student Health & Wellness website.

Dal undergrad talks science, university life with high schoolers in Canada's prairies

PLANS information session on Dalhousie Medical School admissions

Promoting Leadership in Health for African Nova Scotians (PLANS) will be hosting an information session for African Nova Scotian and Black students interested in learning about the application process for Dalhousie Medical School admissions. The session will be held on Wednesday, April 5 from 6 to 7:00 p.m. online via Microsoft Teams. Interested students can RSVP by emailing plans@dal.ca

Open Dialogue Live: Accelerating ocean research at Dalhousie

Moderated by Dr. Anya Waite and featuring a panel of Dr. Katja Fennel, Dr. Mike Smit and Dr. Will Burt, this upcoming edition of Open Dialogue Live discusses the ocean’s impact on our climate and Dalhousie’s plan to bring the ocean to the centre of global climate action. Undergraduate Research Prize

Eligible students are invited to apply for the Faculty of Science Undergraduate Research Prize, which is awarded annually upon graduation to students who have made a substantial commitment and contribution to research during their undergraduate programs. A letter of support is required from faculty members who have supervised the student’s research. Students should submit a completed application form to their designated department contact by April 10. Departments should then forward application forms and letters of support to the Dean’s Office (Danielle.wood@dal.ca) by April 14. Complete eligibility details and the application form can be found on the Faculty of Science myDal site (login required).
