Subcommittees of the Senate Learning and Teaching Committee

e-Learning Advisory Committee

The e-Learning Advisory Committee is an ad hoc committee of the Senate Learning and Teaching Committee. The e-Learning Advisory Committee:

  • Reviews the current activities and experiences of e-Learning on campus,

  • Identifies needs for e-Learning services and support for students, faculty, and staff.

  • Advise on priorities for allocation of resources.

The e-Learning Advisory Committee brings together voices from faculty, students, staff and the administrative leads for the Libraries, Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) to provide a broad input into the institutional delivery of e-Learning at Dalhousie University.

Academic Integrity Subcommittee

The Senate Learning and Teaching Committee (SLTC) has, as part of its purpose, a mandate to oversee Senate’s responsibility for broadly considering any emerging issues involving academic integrity, and to create and implement processes for handling matters where students are suspected of committing academic misconduct. The purpose of the SLTC Academic Integrity Sub-committee is to support the SLTC in these responsibilities and to recommend policies and practices concerning academic integrity that may be applicable at both the institutional and Faculty level.
