Introducing Dal's 12th president
Yesterday, Dal's Board of Governors announced the appointment of Dr. Deep Saini as the next president and vice-chancellor of Dalhousie University. Dr. Saini, currently at the University of Canberra in Australia, will bring his mix national leadership and global perspective to Dalhousie when his five-year term begins in January 2020.
As construction continues on the addition to Dalhousie’s warehouse, traffic will be partially disrupted for two days on Castine Way Tuesday May 21 and Wednesday May 22.
This brand new camp will allow kids to explore the wild side of things all while learning the science behind the biological, physical and chemical properties of our Earth.
Learn more about the exciting research projects of the five PhD students receiving Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships and the two postdocs receiving Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships — from renewable energy to dating apps and sexualized violence.
