REGISTRATION REQUIRED: https://events-tm.dal.ca/workshop.php?id=2549
Offered as part of the Dalhousie Employee Wellness Program

Our minds and bodies need rest and recovery breaks to allow us to relax and reduce the effects of stress. While everyone has days that are hectic and unfocused, consistently feeling stressed out, rushed, or on-the-go can have a detrimental impact on a person, increasing their risk of experiencing a serious physical concern, such as heart disease or stroke. This seminar will show participants how to make time to calm down and reduce stress, using both proactive and reactive relaxation

Learning objectives:

• Understand the stress response and how it works.

• Discuss the importance of managing stress for optimal health.

• Practice stress reducing exercises

This seminar is offered in collaboration with Morneau Shepell through your Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP). This program offers immediate and confidential help for you and your family, helping you achieve better health and well-being. Call your EFAP
