POSTPONED: Building Belonging: Racism in Institutions of Post-Secondary Education

IMPORTANT NOTE: We apologize for the short notice, but unfortunately, Dr. Craig Steven Wilder is not able to join us on for this workshop. It will be rescheduled for late March.

Following each Year of Belonging Speaker forum, the Centre for Learning and Teaching will facilitate a 2-hour gathering for people to learn more from leaders on campus regarding forum themes, and how to “build belonging.” These leaders will speak to the themes and then open up a conversation and provide opportunities for participants to share reflections and ask questions regarding how to apply what they’ve learned to their teaching practices.

In this follow-up gathering, in response to Dr. Craig Steven Wilder’s Belong Forum talk, conversations will focus on racism in institutions of higher education, and how we advance anti-racist and anti-oppressive curricula and pedagogies.  Dr. Wilder will be in attendance from 10:am to 11:00 am.
