Experiences of Black mothers in hospitals- Past, Present, and Future
As part of celebrations for African Heritage month, HAAC-SO (Health Association of African Canadians Student Organization) is planning on facilitating and hosting a panel discussion to discuss Experiences of Black mothers in hospitals- Past, Present, and Future for the University and Halifax community.
The event will be running under the 2018 theme-"Educate, Unite, Celebrate Community” with an overarching goal of educating participants of current initiatives to ensure positive experiences in the hospitals. Further, this discussion will air out any misconceptions and myths that are prevalent in our global community. This event will be open to any and all members of the community and Dalhousie University members.
