Reflecting on Faculty Perspectives on E-Learning

This is the third session in the Lunch and Learn Series for faculty and administrative staff working in the online environment, hosted by the Centre for Learning and Teaching.

Executive Director
Centre for Learning and Teaching

Abstract

In 2013, Dalhousie conducted a survey of faculty about e-learning, which was the instigator for a number of support service and educational technology changes on campus over the past few years. In the spring of 2017 Dalhousie once again surveyed faculty on their attitudes, practices and beliefs about e-learning and educational technologies. This lunch and learn will focus on presenting some of the results of the survey and engaging participants in a discussion about the implications of the results – including the changes (or not) between 2013 and 2017 – for the future of e-learning at Dalhousie.
