Canada and the UN: A chat with Marc-André Blanchard, Canada’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations
Marc-André Blanchard, Canada’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations will be on campus for a public "fireside chat" with Dalhousie Vice President Research Alice Aiken about his role, and Canada’s place in global affairs.
In addition to his role with the United Nations, Mr. Blanchard became a member of Canada’s North American Free Trade Agreement Council in 2017. He is an experienced litigator and has been involved in some of Canada’s landmark cases and transactions.
Mr. Blanchard was named one of Canada’s top 50 most powerful business leaders by Canadian Business, and identified as one of the 25 most influential lawyers in Canada by Canadian Lawyer Magazine.
