PhD candidate earns $20K award for women in doctoral programs

Earlier this spring, clinical psychology PhD candidate Karen Tang found out that she was among the newest recipients of the P.E.O. Scholar Awards, valued at $20,000. Offered through the Iowa-based P.E.O. Sisterhood, the awards recognize academic excellence by women in doctoral programs in the United States and Canada. Diving into Shark Conservation & Research in Nova Scotia: June 8

In celebration of World Oceans Day, the Faculty of Science is hosting its third annual oceans-themed panel discussion at 6:00 pm in the atrium of the Steele Ocean Sciences Building on June 8, 2023. This year's discussion will include subject matter experts from Dalhousie University and the community to explore an in-depth conversation on shark conservation and research in Nova Scotia.
