Tips to ace your final exams
It’s almost final exam time! Our friends at Together@Dal have compiled a few helpful tips to help you prepare.

 

#SciComm in Action: The Whale Poop Loop by Kiersten Runte
Take a 3 minute break and watch (or sing along with) this video on the relationship between photosynthetic phytoplankton in the ocean and the poop of whales. Recognizing impactful research: Introducing Dal’s newest Doctoral Thesis Award Winner
Dalhousie's Faculty of Graduate Studies has announced the winners of the 2022 Dalhousie Doctoral Thesis Awards. Congratulations to doctoral graduate Dr. J. Scott McCain (Biology) who is this year’s recipient in the Engineering, Medical Sciences and Natural Sciences category. In his thesis, Dr. McCain studied microbes in the ocean and the role they play in how the earth works. His supervisor was Erin Bertrand. Read more about Dr. McCain’s research here.

ANST National Undergraduate Virtual Symposium
ANST is the trainee organization of the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology, Division 40 of APA. It is the largest trainee, division-based organization of APA, with more than 40 groups at various graduate institutions across North America. York University’s ANST Interest Group strives to create a centralized networking platform for trainees to cultivate new connections and stay attuned to new developments in neuropsychology. Honours thesis and students completing an independent research project in psychology, are invited to present a poster on your work. Topics must be related to neuropsychology (e.g., clinical neuropsychology, neuroscience, cognition, neurorehabilitation). The event will be held virtually via Zoom.
