It’s almost final exam time! Our friends at Together@Dal have compiled a few helpful tips to help you prepare.

 

29th Integrated Science Research Symposium poster session
This afternoon (Friday April 1st) from 1:30-4:30 pm please join us for the 29th Annual Integrated Science Research Symposium poster session in the 3rd floor foyer of the LSC (above Tim Hortons). The Integrated Science students (first year Dal science students) will share their team research completed through Dalhousie, NRC and BIO host labs this year. The 25 projects completed spanned an exciting range of topics across departments. Host departments and programs include Biology, Microbiology and Immunology, Chemistry, Physics and Atmospheric Science, Medical Physics, Earth Sciences, Psychology and Neuroscience, Oceanography, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Oral Sciences, Integrated Science, the National Research Council and Fisheries and Oceans Canada. This session is open to the public. Masks required.

 

Welcoming Ashley Coffin, BSc Truro Cohort Project Manager!
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Coffin (she/her) MHE, P.Ag. as Project Manager, BSc Truro Cohort. Ashley will be instrumental in expanding academic and student programming with the Faculty of Agriculture to include a variety of programs from other Faculties, starting with the Faculty of Science in September 2022. She will be supporting BSc students on the Truro campus at all stages, from program admissions, the first year, and transition to second year studies on the Halifax campus. More information about the new BSc Truro Start initiative can be found here.
