You're receiving this message as a subscriber to the Office of Research Services (ORS) weekly eNewsletter.

Starting Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Office of the Vice President Research and Innovation will launch a refreshed version of the eNewsletter under a new name – the Dal R&I Essential – to better support our vibrant research and innovation community.

The Dal R&I Essential will continue to bring you timely updates on funding opportunities, including new calls and upcoming deadlines. It will also serve as a central source for important process and policy updates, as well as learning opportunities and events designed to support your success.

To further strengthen our support for research commercialization and external engagement, we’re adding a dedicated Innovation and Industry Partnership section, featuring updates and opportunities from Dal Innovates and the Office of Commercialization and Industry Engagement.

A note on subscriptions

To ensure we’re reaching all Dalhousie faculty and staff engaged in research and innovation, we’ve worked with People & Culture to create a comprehensive distribution list. Going forward, the eNewsletter will only be sent to Dalhousie email addresses.

If you notice a colleague isn’t receiving the eNewsletter, please encourage them to contact research@dal.ca so we can add them to the list. If you’d like to continue receiving the email at a non-Dalhousie address, you can set up automatic forwarding from your Dalhousie account using Microsoft Outlook.
