New DFA collective agreement

Dalhousie University’s Board of Governors ratified a new collective agreement between Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA) on February 9, 2021. The agreement was ratified by DFA members on January 22, 2021.

Thanks to leadership from Naiomi Metallic, the Chancellor’s Chair in Aboriginal Law and Policy, law students at Dal now have the opportunity to add an Aboriginal and Indigenous law specialization as part of their degree — part of a larger project of Indigenizing the law school.

Children as young as five recognize the unfairness of gender-based pay inequality and appear willing to incur a personal cost to ensure both boys and girls are paid equitably, according to a new study by a Dalhousie researcher.
