Benjie Nycum: A Dalhousie Original
Born and raised in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia, Benjie Nycum credits his time at Dalhousie for shaping how he approached the world of ideas. Now CEO of William Nycum & Associates Ltd., and an adjunct professor of Architecture at Dal, Nycum focuses on health-care architecture, and finds many similarities between his work and his LGBTQ+ advocacy. After all, care and understanding are paramount when creating a comfortable space for a disenfranchised population — whether it's LGBTQ+ youth or the elderly in a long-term care facility.
Campus can sometimes feel like a place of constant change — especially when the spaces themselves are changing, too. Take a look at some of the major construction, renovation and space upgrade projects recently completed or set to wrap up soon.
The men’s and women’s cross country teams are returning to the trails after very successful seasons last year.
