Making a whale of an entrance: 18‑metre blue whale skeleton installed at Dal

Suspended from ceiling of the Steele Ocean Sciences Building is the skeleton of an adult blue whale found washed up in Nova Scotia. The new installation will serve the centrepiece of the upcoming Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity and is a powerful reminder of the need to protect our ocean and its inhabitants.
