Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (ILA) is an academic enrichment program, affiliated with Dalhousie University, which aims to increase the representation of African Canadians in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professions. ILA programming is offered to students at three levels of their education:



Junior high school students design and program robots for competitions in teams Learn more about the FIRST LEGO League

Virtual School Program


High school students receive tutoring and homework support for math and science courses as well as attend conferences to help prepare them for post-secondary education Learn more about the Virtual School Program
