What is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)? Who does it impact? Why does it present itself in some individuals and not others? Watch Dr. Simon Sherry and CTV's Bruce Frisko discuss PTSD and the importance of reducing stigma around mental illness.

Media Highlight: Dal/MEOPAR researchers learn military techniques to study whales

Dr. Christopher Taggert and Hansen Johnson talk about learning military techniques to listen to the ocean with the Globe and Mail. The researchers hope to use these techniques and share findings with the military, all in hopes to better mitigate the chance of ships causing harm to whales.

IMPACT Awards 2016

The IMPACT Awards will be held on March 24 to recognize outstanding individual students and student groups, and the impact their contributions have made to the community (both on campus and off). Remember to nominate someone who’s made an impact by February 14, 2016.
