Faculty of Agriculture students raise money to fight cystic fibrosis

Dr. David Gray stood on the lawn of the Truro Library and waited for his turn to go in the dunk tank. It’s become an annual thing, where students and the public get the chance to dunk the dean with the funds raised going towards Shinerama – a fundraiser for cystic fibrosis.

The Romeo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative

On Sept 24th, two of Canada's leading humanitarians LGen Roméo Dallaire (Ret'd), Founder of The Roméo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative and Mr. Stephen Lewis, Co-Director of AIDS Free World will speak about how and why these weapons are being realized, and the efforts each is leading to bring an end to their uses.
