Joanna Blodgett

Postdoctoral Fellow

Joanna completed her BSc (Honours in Neuroscience) and her MSc (Community Health & Epidemiology) at Dalhousie University. She began working at GMR in 2013 as an MSc student. Joanna recently completed her PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health at UCL in London, UK examining physical and cognitive capability in the 1946 British birth cohort. Joanna’s main research areas include ageing, population cohort studies and life course epidemiology. She is particularly interested in longitudinal data, physical activity and in better understanding the determinants of physical aspects of ageing.
