NovaTRAC Survey

What is the NovaTRAC survey?

The Nova Scotia Travel Activity (NovaTRAC) Halifax survey is a research project conducted by the Dalhousie University Transportation Collaboratory (DalTRAC). The survey will collect information about your household and household members’ daily travel activities (when, where, why and how they travel).

There is also an opportunity to WIN a $200 VISA gift card or one of ten $50 VISA gift cards for every household survey completed.

Why is it important?

Your survey responses will be combined with travel information from other households in your area. This information will give us a better picture of travel patterns and future transportation needs to inform transportation planning and policy-making.

How do you participate?

Invitations to the NovaTRAC survey will be distributed via mail to 10,000 randomly selected HRM households in 2018. If you were selected or know someone who has been randomly selected, please encourage them to complete the survey! Participation is entirely voluntary and information will be kept strictly confidential.
