Tim Choi working on naval history conference at Yale
On behalf of Professor Paul Kennedy, director of the Naval and Maritime Studies Initiative at Yale University's International Security Studies, I would like to notify you of the inaugural Yale Naval History Conference. This year's theme is "Navies in Multipolar Worlds", and seeks to explore how navies throughout history responded to changing distributions of power in their world systems. While the conference prefers presentations taking a historical approach, it will also consider those employing other disciplinary approaches.
The conference takes place April 20-21, 2018, at Yale University's main campus in New Haven, Connecticut. Proposals are due January 5, 2018.
Updated information will also be posted on the International Security Studies website here: http://iss.yale.edu/maritime/2018-naval-history-conference
