Narratives in Space+Time marked the anniversary of the Halifax Explosion at Kepe'k (the Narrows) this morning at 8:45 a.m., where they were joined by Elder Joe Michael and Catherine Anne Martin (Dal's Director of Indigenous Community Engagement) and members of the community to remember those lost at the Mi'kmaw encampment of Turtle Grove and all those affected throughout the city that morning.
There are thousands of stories about the Halifax Explosion — stories marked by blood, courage and compassion.
