Edzell Castle Circle Street closure

Facilities Management will be carrying out essential repairs to the Aquatron in the LSC Oceanography Tower on Friday, October 25. All sidewalks and entry points leading to or passing through this section of road will be closed. Accessible entrances will not be affected.

Tupper fumehood shutdown

Please be advised that there will be a mandatory fumehood shut down for maintenance in the Tupper Building on the weekend of October 26-27. Please complete these steps in advance of this work.

LSC power outage Saturday, October 26

The Life Sciences Centre (LSC) is undergoing critical maintenance to upgrade electrical infrastructure. The next power outage shutdown is scheduled for this Saturday, October 26 from 6 a.m. until midnight.

Killam retrofit update: Fourth floor closures

Fourth floor closures at the Killam Library will happen in three stages and are scheduled to avoid closing during both the December and April exam periods. During the first stage, from November 1 - January 24, the book stacks and study carrels will be closed.

Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund

On October 28, join ISANS for a one-hour webinar at 6 p.m. ADT to learn about the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF). This ISANS-led initiative can help immigrants with permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship obtain training and certification in their chosen fields or related fields in their new home provinces.

Take Our Kids to Work Day

On November 6, Grade 9 students across Canada will have the opportunity to participate in Take Our Kids To Work Day. While Dalhousie does not formally participate in this program, we are supportive of this initiative. Read these general tips if you are planning to bring your child to work.
