Kicking off today
Today marks the first day of Dal Innovation Week — a week dedicated to showcasing ventures and innovations springing up across campus and the dynamic network of programming and support offered in the university entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
Dal has a surplus materials program where equipment, furniture and supplies that were purchased with university funds and are no longer needed can be bid on and reused. Visit dal.ca/surplus to learn more.
The first-ever Dal Innovation Week has rapidly become a magnet for people with big ideas and a lot of hustle. This includes Dalhousie alumnus and Wind Mobile co-founder, Brice Scheschuk, who will be judging Thursday’s Demo Day pitch competition.
Change comes with the territory when moving away from home to go to university. We asked some of Dal's newest students what special belongings they brought with them to create a feeling of home away from home.
