LSC power outage Saturday, August 3

The Life Sciences Centre (LSC) is undergoing critical maintenance to upgrade electrical infrastructure. This work will involve a series of power outages. The next shutdown is scheduled for this Saturday, August 3.

Ecosystem engineers: Researchers explore whether oysters can help clean one of Nova Scotia’s polluted waterways

Oysters can filter gallons of water a day, clarifying water and removing pollutants. That’s why a team of Dal researchers, in collaboration with Pictou Landing First Nation, are deploying locally sourced oysters in a body of water near Boat Harbour to evaluate whether they can help improve the local ecosystem.
