Major funding competitions in Fall 2024

To help support planning and preparation for upcoming major competitions over the Fall term, the Office of Research Services has provided a list of deadlines, including the ORS internal deadlines.

LSC power outage Saturday, July 6

The Life Sciences Centre (LSC) is undergoing critical maintenance to upgrade electrical infrastructure. The next power outage shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 6 a.m. until midnight.

Human Resources office closure

The central Human Resources office in the Henry Hicks Building will be closed Thursday, July 4 at 12 noon for the remainder of the day.

Dr. Hilary MacCormick, an anesthesiologist in the Department of Women's and Obstetric Anesthesia and assistant professor at Dalhousie, discusses some of the barriers, stress, and marginalization transgender and noxnbinary people face in accessing gender-affirming surgery.
